You may need to update your connected student loan account(s) if:
- You connected your loan account(s) by syncing with your loan servicer, but the connection has been broken (indicated by a red 'Resync' button next to the tile displaying your loan account information in Roll Up)
- You connected your loan account(s) by uploading your MyStudentData file or by manually inputting your loan details, and the data (such as the loan's balance) displayed in Candidly is now out of date
To update a loan account that you connected to Candidly by syncing with your loan servicer:
- Sign into your Candidly account
- Open the left-hand menu > select Roll Up
- Press the 'Resync' button in the tile displaying your loan account information
- Follow the prompts to sync with your loan servicer again
To update a loan account that you connected to Candidly manually or with your MyStudentData file:
You can't update the details of a student loan account you've already connected with Candidly. Instead, you must remove the loan and connect and verify it again.
- Sign into your Candidly account
- Open the left-hand menu > select Roll Up
- Click the '...' in the upper righthand corner of the tile for the loan account you'd like to remove
- Select 'Remove Loan Account'
- Confirm your selection via the prompt
Connect and verify the loan account again by syncing with your loan servicer (recommended), by using your MyStudentData file, or by entering your loan details manually.
