How to change your spending and funding accounts for Round Up

What are the spending and funding accounts?

When a charge is made to your spending account, Round Up will "round up" the charge to the nearest dollar. This spare change is collected until your monthly maximum Round Up contribution is met. At the end of the month, Round Up charges your funding account for the total spare change it collected that month, and sends this amount as a payment to your primary loan account. 


What types of accounts can be used for my spending and funding accounts?

Any credit card, debit card, or checking account can be used as your spending account. Only a checking account can be used as your funding account.


To change your spending or funding account:

  1. Sign into your Candidly account.
  2. Open the left-hand menu > select Round Up.
  3. Click the '...' in the upper lefthand corner of the 'Accounts' section.
  4. Select 'Manage Spending Account' or 'Manage Funding Account' and follow the prompts to select a new account.
